Corn, Coal and Real Ale

Paul Jeffery <paul.jeffery2@virgin.net> asked us to publicise this event.

As well as supporting my local CAMRA branch, I am also involved with running the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum at Wetheringsett, just off the A140 in Suffolk. We have a special event coming up on Sunday 30th April & Monday 1st May where I have a chance to combine my two main interests.

I am running a real ale bar in a 19th century Great Eastern railway carriage, with beers from Mauldons, Kitchen, Railway (mild) and a cider from Theobalds. There should be something to suit all tastes.

The event is a Corn and Coal event, with traction engine in steam and various displays and demonstrations. There will be a barbecue as well.

Admission will be free to all CAMRA members (cards must be shown). One branch brought a coach party down last year and any similar support this year would be most welcome!
