ALE Monthly No. 211 October 1981

News for rALE Enthusiasts

I gather from a usually reliable source that some railway preservation societies are going in for real ale as well as real engines. It is reported that at least the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and the Ffestiniog Railway have real ale, further details not available at present, and that there may be others. The Ffestiniog Railway supposedly even goes in for special bar coaches with a special suspension system so that they do not swing violently and disturb the beer. More details are promised of these and other raleway societies from my roving informant, a certain poetical Michale from Stapleford.
