Another AGM, Another Beer Festival...

Thanks to the University Sports & Social Club for hosting our Branch AGM again, this time with an excellent little beer festival too.

The outstanding beer was the City of Cambridge's latest, Parker's Porter (5.3%) - a thick, rich, smooth and very tasty beer. Other beers of note were Potton Pride (6+%), Shepherd Neame Late Red (4.5%), Brain's Dylan's Ale (4.8%) and Tisbury Old Wardour (4.8%).

At the AGM a new chairman was elected unopposed: Mark Donachy of the Red Lion, Histon. We also welcome some new blood to the committee: Bob Arnott, John Joyce and Shaun Marsh. It was encouraging seeing so many new members at the AGM - thanks for taking the time to turn up!
