Foreign Beer Tasting

An introduction to Belgian beer

Sponsored by Bacchanalia

The Foreign Beer Manager, Ron Buchet, will be running a beer tasting to introduce you to the delights of Belgian beer on Friday 25 May, starting at 3.30 p.m.

The tasting will run for approximately one to one-and-a-half hours. It will consist of a tasting of six different Belgian beers, accompanied by appropriate cheese to nibble on.

Ron has run many foreign bars in his time, and is the Festival's resident expert on foreign beers. He has also conducted many successful tastings, and contributes a regular column about continental beer styles to ALE.

If you know nothing about Belgian beer and would like to find out about it, or if you already know a bit but would like to know more, why not give it a whirl?

Tickets for the tasting, to cover the price of the beer and cheese, will cost a mere 5. Please ask at the Foreign Bar for tickets.
