Judges described it as “a complex, well-balanced cider. The floral aroma is followed by a sweet and sour taste with a hint of pineapple and dry finish”. Cambridgeshire also triumphed in the 2010 East Anglian Bottled Cider Competition, where the results were:

3rd Spartan Cider, from Cam Valley Orchards, Meldreth.
